Of course i would like us to win and get to the group stages but if our league form doesnt improve and it turns into a relegation scrap its maybe the last thing we need.

Mind you if we are that shit, we may get past this lot but wont get out of the group anyway!!!! still be 6 games in between league fixtures, but expect if we dont start the group to well the towel will be thrown and the reserves will get a day trip or 2 to Europe..................

Again we will field a double defensive midfield and try counter attacks. That's what Moyes is about.

We will win, but Viborg will have the majority of the possession.

I would have started with
Areola
a back three with Kehler Rice and Ogbonna, with Rice pushing forward a bit.
Ashley and Johnson as RWB/LWB
Bowen Downes Benrahma Cornet in midfield as CAMs
Scamacca nr9

Assuming Oggy has recovered well from the last match I'd expect him to get another outing. Whether Kehrer will play alongside I'm not sure. Coufal may not be fit so I assume Ashby on the right and Johnson on the left.
Coventry will play, perhaps with Rice. I suspect Lanzini, Cornet and Scamacca will see more gametime.

Really depends on who he plans on playing in the next league game. I'd like to see more of Downes but it seems Moyes doesn't rate him so it's a mystery why he was signed.

I am hoping we get to see Downes. What have we paid 12 million for. Mike T mentioned he has great passing stats and is deep sitting midfielder. I'm praying he can move a lot faster than Soucek ( not hard ) and is stronger than Lanzini ( not hard ) and Fornals too.

Hoping this West Ham supporting lad is a live wire in midfield as its what we need desperately.

Whatever we think of Moyes we are not going day and will be fine come end September / early October.

I truly don't think the board are 100% behind anything other than PL survival - they squealed like stuffed pigs at the cost of a team coach to Everton in a cup game not so long ago, so having to pay for European travel on top of possible UK cup runs must positively keep them awake at night, pacing the floor in anxiety.

If we lose this from the position we're in, it's quite likely to completely fuck what remaining confidence we've got.

It's a "must not lose by more than 2, or by 2 and bugger up our penalties in the shoot-out" game.
